EQUIPTMENT & FACILITIES.
I currently work out of MixGLA and LA Chunky in Glasgow, Scotland, and mix and master from my home studio. Between in-house equipment and my own personal collection, I have access to everything necessary for small and large-scale prodcutions.
MICROPHONES
A wide selection of microphones from leading manufacturers, including Neumann, Shure, Audix, Beyerdynamic and JZ, alongside a range of other dynamic, condenser and ribbon microphones. This gives me plenty of options for recording everything from drums and guitars to vocals, piano and acoustic instruments.
RECORDING & PRODUCTION
Professional recording systems built around Universal Audio Apollo interfaces, alongside a selection of outboard preamps and analogue equipment. I work primarily in Pro Tools and have access to a large selection of professional plugins for recording, editing, production, amp simulation, virtual instruments, effects and mixing.
INSTRUMENTS & AMPLIFIERS
Access to a broad selection of electric and acoustic guitars, basses, drum kits and cymbals, as well as upright and grand pianos and MIDI keyboards. Amplification includes a wide range of classic and modern amps from Fender, Marshall, Hiwatt, Vox, Mesa/Boogie and more, with additional instruments and equipment available depending on the project.
STUDIOS & LIVE ROOMS
I work across Mix GLA, La Chunky and my home studio, giving me access to a variety of professional recording environments. This includes fully soundproofed live rooms suitable for recording drums, full bands, amplifiers and larger acoustic instruments, as well as dedicated control rooms and production spaces.
